Christmas might still be a few days away but I received one of my presents early!
His name is Murph! He is a very small 13 week old maltipoo... Right now he weighs 2.10 pounds! Millie is around 15 so there is a big size difference between them! He is a funny little guy... Very full of energy and pretty fearless!!
Millie has been pretty good about the new addition so far. I think it will take a little while for her to completely warm up to him!!
I forgot what puppies were like... A lot of work but a lot of fun! He is a sweet little guy and I am so excited that he is now a part of our family!
Can you believe that Christmas is less than three weeks away?!? I have been so busy with the holidays that I haven't even had time to think about posting!! We had two Thanksgivings, one in Tennessee and one here. Now we have been busy getting the house ready for Christmas!!
My newest project was the peppermint trees! They were super easy to make! All you need is styrofoam cones, a hot glue gun, and peppermints!
I am sitting at work right now and we have no power. Pretty much all my work is done on a computer so I am basically sitting in the dark with nothing to do. I figured now might be a good time to share some pictures I have recently found on tumblr! Hope you enjoy!
A couple days ago I made my way out to Target to get some Halloween candy and guess what I saw… Christmas decorations! Only one small back wall but they were still there! After Target, I went to PetsMart to pick up a bag of dog food and they had displays set up with Christmas toys and treats!
I know most people think it is still too early but it is only 53 days away! Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year!! I love the decorations, the music, the smells, the excitement! I think my favorite thing of all is planning and giving gifts! I think I have mentioned before that I get really into gift giving! I put a lot of thought into coming up with something that I think the person will love, but I also put a lot of thought into the presentation!
I must say I am very pleased with the gifts I am giving my sisters this year! Yes I have already bought their gifts and I cannot wait until they see them! I obviously can’t add photos or details now because that would ruin the surprise but I promise I will share pics after Christmas!
Last Christmas was our official first Christmas in our home but it was also when we were moving so I did not get to decorate. We had a tree up but that was it… everything else was still in boxes. This year will be different! I did make a promise that I would not decorate until after Thanksgiving, but that doesn’t mean I can’t start planning!!

Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you enjoy this fabulous day!! This is our first Halloween in our home so I have no idea what to expect. A family up the street hosts a haunted house for the neighborhood every year so I am thinking we might actually have some trick or treaters!
Don't forget "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" comes on ABC tonight at 8:00! It wouldn't be Halloween without it!!
Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Ben and I went out for dinner and drinks Saturday night to celebrate our two year anniversary. Our actual anniversary isn't until Tuesday but we decided to do something over the weekend since we both have work. I can't believe it has been two years!!
My sister Hollis is currently adding a second story to her house. She works from home so part of the new addition will include an office for her. This got me thinking about what I would want my office to look like if I ever get that chance!!
I love fall! It is my favorite time of year! The leaves changing, the cool weather, the clothes, the smell of fires.... It is all so wonderful!! This weekend I swapped my summer and fall clothes! Here are a few pics to get you as excited as I am!!
